The “unmanned transportation project” launched by WAYTOUS and Datang International is China’s first unmanned mine transportation project. It was highly recognized by the State Coal Industry Council and Ordos Bureau of Energy after several inspections. Later, it was reported by CCTV Morning News after resumption of production during the COVID-19 pandemic. Up to now, the project has been in normal operation for 3 years, with remarkable economic and social benefits achieved.
