“Mining-Transportation-Dumping” full-process collaborative operation in East Open-pit Coal Mine
The East Open-pit Coal Mine will be built into the largest 5G + unmanned project in Shanxi Province
WAYTOUS undertook the project as the general contractor, and proved its ability to provide an overall solution including underlying drive-by-wire transformation, unmanned vehicle improvement and multi-vehicle marshalling test for normal operation, laying a foundation for commercialization.

China National Coal Group Corporation Pingshuo Antaibao Project
All parties to the contract strictly followed the unmanned driving test standard, i.e., top-level design first, and established China’s first demonstration base for intelligent mine testing. By verifying and testing the relevant unmanned driving equipment theory and technology in the project, the intelligent mine-related technology was put into industrial application, ensuring that reliable products verified under strict standards could be applied to actual operations in intelligent mines on a large scale, thereby providing vigorous support for the establishment of standards and national standards for unmanned driving in intelligent mines.

A “1 +7 + N” mode was adopted in the project (1 electric shovel + 7 unmanned mining trucks + N auxiliary operation devices for manned driving), making it possible to carry out “Mining-Transportation-Dumping” full-process collaborative operations in mines. It is also the largest 5G + unmanned driving project for intelligent mines to be implemented in Shanxi Province. The project is a large-scale open-pit mine-related unmanned driving project undertaken by WAYTOUS. Its implementation verifies WAYTOUS’ ability to develop a total solution composed of underlying drive-by-wire transformation, unmanned vehicle improvement and multi-vehicle marshalling test for normal operation, laying a technological foundation for large-scale commercialization.
