The Xiaobaodang 5G + intelligent mine demonstration project (an accurate positioning and unmanned application project) boasts several key technological breakthroughs in underground unmanned driving. The multi-source heterogeneous fusion sensing technology, developed based on sensors such as laser radar, millimeter wave radar, ultrasonic radar and thermal imaging camera, can be well applied under underground low-light and high-vapor working conditions; the high-precision combined positioning system, developed based on UWB positioning, laser SLAM, high-precision map and other relevant techniques, can be used for large-scale accurate positioning in an environment free of GPS signals. It has passed an acceptance inspect organized by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Shaanxi Province. The project aims to form a complete solution of unmanned transportation under the overall framework of “intelligent equipment, intelligent transportation and intelligent management” for the Xiaobaodang Coal Mine, so as to positively promote the intelligent transformation of the domestic underground auxiliary transportation system to speed up the transformation and upgrading of coal mine production.
